Tell us about your character!

1. What is their name? (How is this pronounced?)

Tian Jin. (T-ee-eh-n J-ee-n) This is his full first name.

2. Who are they exactly?

That one light elf that lives in Song-Lu

3. How do they typically spend a day?

4. What language(s) do they speak? If they could learn another, what would it be?

Speaks common but fluent in Songhua and Atlan. He is also in the process of learning Vikasa thanks to Mae.

While there isn't a particular language he wants to learn, he wants someone to speak Atlan with.

5. How fit or healthy are they?

Ehhh, he's kinda on the thin side, but his weight is okay for his height. He doesn't usually go out of his way to exercise (do u even lift),  but he walks a whole lot daily anyway.

6. What is their current romantic and/or sexual orientation?

Romantically.....well Tian is still figuring that one out himself haha. Sexual wise he's asexual 6v6

7. What did they want to be when they were a child? Did these aspirations go anywhere as they grew up?

The only thing Tian wanted when he was young was to be older. He knew his parents would take him to their homeland as soon as he grew. And yeah he did get older he's almost 30 now, but he'd rather not leave Song-Lu ever (even tho he already has).

8. How good are they at swimming?

Pei lives by the sea, so when he was young he'd swim. He's not amazing at it, but he won't drown.

9. What about their cooking skill? Who usually makes their meals, themselves or someone else?

He can make anything if he puts his mind to it, but he's not picky so he'd end up making really simplistic dishes for himself. Nowadays Mae is the one feeding mouths. She cooks a lot better anyway.

10. What are they attracted to or repulsed by in other people?

He's attracted to happy people who talk a lot. At the same time he likes those who blush easily. They're fun to tease- Smiles and good times-
Physically though, he likes people with long hair.

He's repulsed by people who ask too many questions.  To him, ignorance is bliss. and has gotten into trouble because of this

11. What is their sleep schedule like?

At the very least he gets 3 hours of shut-eye, 6 at the most. He's an extremely light sleeper, thus waking a lot is the norm. He also likes to draw before bed, leaving him awake for hours instead having already been asleep in bed. Mae also wakes early and feels her get up. If he can't get back to sleep he'll just rise too.

12. How well do they tolerate spicy food?

Very well. He had a restaurant he liked but well--- //looks at Mae

13. What’s on their bucket list?

-Traveling to Delverne
-Meeting other light elves
-Seeing Soora happy

14. What is their money management like?

Someone help him this child leaves money everywhere. He's reckless when handling it but he never actually buys much. It's probably gotten better since Mae is the one going to market now.

15. How do they show love or appreciation?

Hugs, kisses, hand-holding, face rubbing, leaning. Unless you tell him you're uncomfortable he's all about skinship.

16. How do they handle anger?

Tian isn't one to be angry to begin with but he leaves. He has go away. He walks for who-knows-how-long to who-knows-where and just cools off. He'd hate to have someone see him upset so he goes off on his own without saying anything. By the time he comes back he'll be the same Tian.

But if you must know, he cries when he's angry and has a godawful tantrum. 

17. What are some of their opinions on different cities and religions?

Of the cities he's seen, he finds Tusa beautiful. On the other hand he never wants to set foot in Iadlain ever again. As for religions, he's open to learn about any religion. His parents spread Aurea's message onto him, but Pei never enforced it when they were gone.

18. How would they behave at a party?

Depends on the what kind of party but he'd mingle and follow the happy flow.

26. Clothing style? He likes showing skin, but most of his clothes are Song-Luesque

32. Endearment? He loves when Pei calls him "JinJin", though she sometimes uses "A Tian" to be silly. But since Pei started using "JinJin", Tian also calls Pei "Pei Pei" , Ju became "JuJu", and Mae "MaeMae"


33. Mode of transport? "and you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you...tonight."- //smacked
If he could walk everywhere he would.

What would your character do if:

34. A child tried to pickpocket them and failed?
Honestly he probably wouldn't notice- but if the kid failed it's probably because Ju was in his bag like usual and scared the heck out of that kid.
If he did notice he'd laugh a bit and say something like "Am I that irresistible?"


35. It started raining very heavily and the only nearby shelter was a stranger’s umbrella?

Tian isn't afraid of rain, but it was too cold to walk in the rain he'd snuggle right up to the stranger-

36. They noticed a scorpion on their chest?

Be fascinated and watch it. Maybe reach for paper and draw it.

37. They noticed a scorpion on someone else’s chest?

Save the scorpion because he knows most would want to kill it-

38. A guard told them they were under arrest and asked them to come quietly without an explanation?

He'd go along quietly as he pouts and holds back tears.

39. They found themselves barefoot, unarmed and penniless in an unknown city, with absolutely no recollection of how they got there?

Sob until someone finds him. //looks at Kairi-


40. One of their friends or relatives came crying to them in the middle of the night?

Hold them without asking what happened.

41. Someone punched them at a bar?

If it was an accident he'd laugh it off. If it was on purpose and the other party was angry he'd laugh it off and run home.

42. They saw a stray kitten wandering on the street and a speeding carriage heading straight towards it?

Use everything in his power to save it.

43. They were very hungry but the only edible things available were some live snails, unidentified mushrooms and moonshine?

Okay well Tian doesn't really think about these things he'd put everything in his mouth and regret it later-

44. Have they ever been in love?
Of course

45. How single and ready to mingle are they at the moment?

46. Have they ever killed or seriously hurt someone?
Directly no-
But he's the cause of some hurt ;v;

47. Who is the most important person (or people) in their life right now?
It says people but Ju is his whole life to him, he'd do anything for his little love.
He also cares deeply for Mae who's lived with him for a long time now. The same goes to Pei who is like a mother to him.

48. What is something they deeply regret?

Telling his parents to come back quickly.

49. Are they a virgin?

Yes. This could have almost been a no //sweats more

50. Do they have any secret bad habits?

He uses his nails to dig into his skin. He doesn't mean to do it, most of the time he doesn't notice until there's blood, he just does it without thinking. Really though it happens because he's constantly anxious and never says so.

He also has a habit of looking at himself, making sure he looks good. He truly values beauty, it started as an admiration toward how courtesans looked, but sometimes he finds himself caring too much about it. He feels that looking good is part of the process to being accepted and never leaving him forever
51. Have they ever been drunk or high? What are or would they be like if they were?
No he doesn't trust himself enough to let himself go. I imagine he'd just giggle and probably expose himself until he drops. Get ready for really weird illusions too.

52. What would your character say (or do) to you if they met you?

If he knew I was his creator he'd probably cry. If he didn't he'd just try to charm me and show off his illusions.

53. In real life, where would your character live and what would their job be?

Uh, he'd probably still be a student going to an uni near a city as an art major while taking small jobs that allow him to get out a bit. He can probably still be a tour guide. 

54. If your character could read other characters’ applications like resumes, who would they pick out as acceptable roommates?

Hmm... He'd have no real preference. However someone he'd like right off the bat would be Ebony, who seems like a bubbly person. Also Blayne because he's super easy to get along with (and Tian really trusts the guy).

55. What other characters in the group would you never ever want your character to fight against, and why?
I don't want him to fight anyone Tian is made if pudding he won't make it did you see what happened to his ear- (thanks cass)
